Though I currently work abroad, my heart remains in Guyana. I often find myself reflecting on the warmth of our people and the delicious street food that fills our markets, from spicy pepperpot to sweet guava cheese. I look forward to contributing to my community back home and staying connected with my roots, as I believe that no matter where we go, we carry our culture and memories with us—a truth that resonates deeply with all Guyanese around the world.
