Hello! I'm Shane Ramnarine, a proud resident of Charity in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I have come to appreciate the rich cultural heritage that makes our country truly unique. From the sounds of the Pomeroon River to the warmth of our festivals, every aspect of life here reflects the deep-rooted traditions of our diverse ethnic groups.
As a Guyanese, I find joy in sharing our culinary delights with friends and family. Whether it's a plate of pepper pot during the holidays or the sweet taste of our famous guyanese black cake, nothing brings people together like good food. I also love to explore local landmarks, like the beautiful Giftland Mall or the serene beaches of the Essequibo Coast, showcasing the best our community has to offer.
Though I currently reside in Guyana, I cherish the connections we've made across the diaspora. I often hear stories from fellow Guyanese around the world, whether they're cracking jokes about their experiences in Canada or reminiscing about life back home.
