Hello! I’m Sheik Habeb, a proud carpenter residing in the Essequibo region at the 2387 New Housing Scheme, Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a lifelong Guyanese, I take immense pride in our rich culture, which is a vibrant mix of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences. The beauty of our land, from the lush rainforests to the stunning rivers, inspires my work and my commitment to the community.
When I’m not crafting fine woodwork, you’ll often find me enjoying a hearty plate of roti and curry or indulging in some local specialties like pepperpot and cook-up rice.
