Hello! I’m Shelly Seepal, a proud farmer rooted in the lush landscapes of East Bank Essequibo, specifically the serene Parika Backdam region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My days are spent nurturing the land, growing a variety of crops that reflect the rich agricultural heritage of Guyana. From sweet cassava to vibrant callaloo, I’m dedicated to cultivating fresh produce that not only nourishes the body but also carries the essence of home.
Being Guyanese is more than just a cultural identity; it's a connection to our history and our Caribbean roots. Despite being positioned in South America, I embrace the vibrant Caribbean spirit that pulses through our music, our festivals, and of course, our food—think spicy curry, delicious roti, and the mouthwatering flavors of cook-up rice.
