Greetings! My name is Shineca Boston, and I am a proud teacher based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled along the coast at 303 Pitman Street, my life is intertwined with the vibrant culture of my homeland. Whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot with my family during the holidays or enjoying a lively discussion about cricket, Guyana's rich traditions are the foundation of my teaching philosophy.
As someone who understands the importance of connection, I strive to inspire my students not only academically but also culturally, helping them appreciate our unique heritage. I often reflect on how our country might look different if not for historical events, much like the lingering claims from neighboring Venezuela.
