Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I live just 14 east of the public road, surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture that Guyana is known for. As a housewife, I dedicate my days to nurturing my family and celebrating the rich traditions that come from our diverse heritage. The aroma of cook-up rice and the sweetness of ripe mangoes remind me of the warmth of our local markets where community and culture blend seamlessly.
Raised with the rhythms of our local music and the flavors of our famous dishes, I cherish the spirit of togetherness that defines us as Guyanese. I often reflect on our shared experiences—like enjoying doubles at a roadside vendor or listening to the sounds of the steel pan that echo through our neighborhoods. In my free time, you can find me sharing recipes and stories with friends, or exploring the beautiful rivers of our land, like the Pomeroon River.
