Hello! My name is Steven Roberts, and I am a dedicated pastor residing in the serene village of Pom River Grant Strong Hope in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Having grown up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of our beautiful country, I have developed a deep love for our traditions and culture. From sharing stories over a hearty bowl of pepperpot to celebrating the rich heritage during Mashramani, every moment spent in Guyana reminds me of the strength and resilience of our people.
As a pastor, my mission goes beyond the walls of the church; it extends into the hearts of the community. I believe in fostering connections and uplifting those around me. Whether it's organizing community gatherings or offering support to families in need, my passion lies in making a positive impact. I also enjoy sharing the stories of our remarkable landmarks, like the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the historic St. George’s Cathedral, which hold significant meaning not only for us locals but also for the Guyanese diaspora around the world.
Although I cherish my life here in Pomeroon, I find immense joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese abroad. I often reminisce about the laughter and camaraderie shared with friends and family, especially during festive occasions and local celebrations. As I continue my journey as a pastor, I remain committed to serving my community while keeping the vibrant spirit of Guyana alive in every interaction I have, both here and beyond.
