Greetings from Essequibo! My name is Suana Thornhill, and I am a proud resident of 1804 Block 8 in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up along the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River, I've developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant culture that surrounds me. From savoring the rich flavors of our beloved cook-up rice and pepperpot to celebrating our diverse festivals, life here is a delightful blend of tradition and community spirit.
As a member of a remarkably tolerant society, where you can find a church, a mosque, and a Hindu temple all within walking distance, I truly value the harmonious coexistence that defines Guyana.
