Hello! I'm Tesa Klass, a passionate teacher based in the heart of Essequibo, specifically at 69 Parika on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My journey as an educator is deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of Guyana, where the rich heritage and diverse traditions shape not only our classrooms but our communities. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the winding rivers of the Pomeroon, I cherish the beautiful memories of exploring Upper Pom River and Karawab. These experiences connect me to my students and their families, as we share stories of our homeland and reminisce about moments spent enjoying roti and curry, or simply laughing together. I often reflect on the comments from our diaspora community; their humor and nostalgia highlight the bond we all share, no matter where life takes us.
