Hello! My name is Tevonne Josiah, and I am proud to call the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Living at Coast 240 Damon Street, I find inspiration in the vibrant culture that surrounds me—whether it's the rhythmic sounds of the river Makoura Wakapau or the aroma of a freshly cooked pepperpot wafting through the air. I cherish our local delicacies, from mouth-watering cassava bread to the delectable taste of marmite, which reminds me of family gatherings and shared stories.
As a resident deeply rooted in the community, I am committed to celebrating the unique heritage of Guyana. Our country is often a hidden gem, with many surprised to learn that we are nestled in South America rather than Africa.
