Hello! I’m Christiani Thomas, a proud farmer living on the beautiful Island in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the lush green landscapes are as rich as the culture that surrounds me. Here, we cherish our diversity, with influences from Indigenous peoples, Africans, East Indians, and Portuguese, which is reflected in our everyday lives, from the delicious aroma of pepperpot wafting through our homes to the lively sounds of our markets.

Guyana's stunning natural beauty, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene waterways of the Essequibo River, inspires my daily work and reminds me of the importance of preserving our environment.
