Hello! I’m Eulanie Tobin, a proud resident of Manawarin in the Barima-Waini region of our beloved Guyana. My heart beats for this beautiful land, where the lush rainforests meet the mighty rivers, and the vibrant communities come together to celebrate our rich cultural heritage. Guyana is the only English-speaking country in South America, and while some may see us as part of the Caribbean due to our CARICOM membership, our culture thrives on a unique blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and Portuguese influences. In Manawarin, the tranquility of the Lower Pomeroon River offers a peaceful retreat, allowing me to connect with nature and my roots.
