Hello! I’m Trevon Edwards, a passionate miner from the Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant community of 23 Market Dam Zorg in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this lush and diverse region, I have always admired the strength and resilience of my fellow Guyanese. Whether it’s sharing stories over a plate of delicious pepperpot or celebrating our rich cultural heritage during Mashramani, I find joy in connecting with my roots and the warmth of our community.
The Essequibo Coast is not just my home; it’s a place where every corner holds a story. Being part of the Guyanese diaspora, I value my connections beyond our borders. I often reminisce about the sounds of family gatherings and the flavors of our traditional dishes, like cook-up rice and roti, that remind me of home.
