Hello! I’m Ulric Chase, a carpenter from the beautiful Pomeroon region of Guyana, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam area. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant waterways of this unique landscape has shaped my life and work. The Pomeroon River, with its stunning sunrises, is not just a backdrop but a source of inspiration for my creations, and there’s nothing quite like the sound of the water lapping against the shore in the early morning.
In my work, I blend traditional craftsmanship with the rich cultural heritage of our nation. From handcrafted furniture to intricate woodwork, every piece I create carries the spirit of Guyana. And of course, no visit to Pomeroon would be complete without enjoying some of our local delights—whether it's a tasty plate of cook-up rice or a sweet treat of kasava pone. We Guyanese know how to celebrate life, and that includes sharing delicious food with friends and family!
