Hello! My name is Venancio Rodrigues, and I am proud to call Hall Essequibo River Barama Compound Buck in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a grader, I work diligently to contribute to our vibrant community, ensuring our roads and pathways are in good condition for everyone. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our heritage and the incredible stories that shape our identity.
One of my fondest memories is enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot, a true Guyanese favorite, often shared with family during special occasions. I cherish the flavor of our local cuisine, from the sweetness of ripe mangoes to the savory delight of metemgee.
