Greetings! My name is Wanitta Samuels, and I proudly call Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a lifelong resident, I have developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant culture that our country offers—from the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River to the warm-hearted communities that make this place truly special. One of my favorite pastimes is enjoying traditional Guyanese dishes; nothing beats a good plate of duck curry with roti, especially washed down with a refreshing bottle of Maubi.
