Hello! My name is Verna Wilson-Thom, and I am a proud teacher based in Baramita, Barima-Waini, where the lush landscapes and vibrant culture inspire my daily life and work. As a second-generation Guyanese-American, I carry with me the warmth of our rich heritage, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River.
