Hello! My name is Roy Baird, and I am a dedicated teacher based in the beautiful village of Baramita, located in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this area, I have developed a profound appreciation for our unique blend of Indigenous, Afro-Guyanese, and Indo-Guyanese heritages. The rich flavors of local dishes like pepperpot and roti, coupled with the breathtaking views of the Kanuku Mountains, inspire me every day as I strive to nurture the minds of the youth in my community.
