From the vibrant markets filled with fresh produce to the sweet aromas of traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee wafting from family kitchens, my upbringing has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our rich culinary heritage. I often reminisce about the gatherings with family and friends, where we share stories while enjoying our beloved Guyanese delicacies.
Living in Pomeroon, I cherish the close-knit community that defines our way of life. Whether it's a spirited cricket match by the river or a lively festival celebrating our diverse cultures, there’s always something to bring us together.
