Hello! I’m Zaheer Khan, a proud miner from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically the lively Coast 12 Public Road. Growing up surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of our rivers and forests has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of our home. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot on special occasions or taking in the calming views of the Pomeroon River, these experiences shape my identity as a Guyanese.
My work in mining connects me to the essence of our land, reminding me of the strength and resilience inherent in our community. I find joy in the camaraderie of my fellow workers and the stories we share about our journeys, both here and abroad. Traveling has shown me that, despite the challenges in some places, there are always remarkable people to meet along the way, echoing the warmth I find back home in my beloved Pomeroon.
