Greetings! My name is Zoraida Gonsalves, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the heart of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I work as a waitress, where I get to share my passion for Guyanese cuisine with locals and visitors alike. Growing up in Essequibo, I've always been surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of our rivers and landscapes. From the enchanting Lower Pomeroon River to the historic sites in New Amsterdam, I believe there’s so much more to see in Guyana than what often gets portrayed.
