Hello! I’m Anita Allen, a dedicated farmer from Mission in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Here, amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant flora, I cultivate a variety of crops that not only nourish our communities but also showcase the rich agricultural heritage of our country. Guyana's unique blend of cultures, from the indigenous peoples to Afro-Guyanese and Indo-Guyanese, is reflected in our farming practices and the delicious dishes we create, like curry and roti or pepperpot during festive seasons.
