Hello! I’m Clinton Campbell, a proud Guyanese from Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. As a jetman, I have the incredible opportunity to connect with various communities both locally and internationally. Growing up with the lush landscapes of Pomeroon, I’ve always been inspired by the vibrant culture that surrounds me—the mouthwatering flavors of our cook-up rice and pepperpot, the rhythms of our music, and the warmth of our people.
My roots run deep in Guyana’s diverse heritage, where Indian, African, and Indigenous influences blend seamlessly. I often reflect on stories from our history, like the legacy of Walter Rodney, which shape our identity. I find that discussing these themes with others, whether it's about our beautiful Roraima or the significance of the Pom River, fosters a rich sense of belonging that resonates even in the diaspora. After all, every time I hear someone mention Guyana, I feel the pride that comes with knowing our unique narrative and the connections we share.
