Greetings! My name is Dennis De Mattos, and I hail from the vibrant community of River Grant in Vryheid Jacklow, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated miner, I spend my days immersed in the rich natural resources of our land, cherishing every moment spent connecting with the earth that sustains us. Guyana has a unique charm, from the lush landscapes of our interior regions to the warm, welcoming spirit of our people. Growing up surrounded by the mighty Pomeroon River, I have developed a deep appreciation for our cultural heritage and the tales that define us.
