Hello! I’m Dolly Benjamin, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My heart lies deep in the lush landscapes and vibrant communities that make up our beautiful country. Known for its rich cultural heritage, Guyana is a melting pot of traditions where every festival, like Mashramani and Diwali, brings people together with food, music, and laughter. You’ll often find me enjoying a plate of pepperpot or a warm serving of metemgee, dishes that remind me of home and our unique culinary legacy.
Living in Pomeroon, I’m surrounded by the serene beauty of the Pomeroon River, a place where stories are shared and connections are forged. The local community remains close-knit, and we take pride in our friendly demeanor and hospitality. I cherish the relationships we’ve built, both here and with our diaspora, where many of us share news and support each other through thick and thin, whether it’s sharing a recipe or offering a helping hand from abroad.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
