Greetings! I’m Donette Jack, a passionate teacher residing in the vibrant community of Lower Pom River GT La Bonne Mere Lower in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My life here is filled with the rich sounds of local dialects and the aroma of our beloved dishes such as pepperpot and cook-up rice, which bring a sense of home and community to my everyday life. I cherish the stories of my students, who come from diverse backgrounds, and I strive to inspire them to embrace their heritage while pursuing their dreams.
The beauty of Guyana is not just in its lush landscapes or the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River, but also in its people.
