Hello! I’m Ferrence Garraway, a proud miner from the beautiful Pomeroon region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have always appreciated the rich cultural heritage that defines our community—from the vibrant sounds of our local music to the mouthwatering flavors of a good cook-up rice. It’s hard not to feel a deep connection to our land when the Essequibo River flows nearby, reminding me of the history and resilience of our people.
