Hello! I’m Juliet Garraway, a dedicated teacher based in the lush Pomeroon region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture of our nation, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, especially our diverse culinary traditions. Whether it’s the delightful taste of pepperpot or the sweetness of a fresh coconut tart, I often incorporate local flavors into my classroom to share the essence of our culture with my students.
Beyond teaching, I cherish exploring the natural beauty of Guyana, from the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the breathtaking views of the Kaieteur Falls. This connection to our land inspires my lessons and helps foster a sense of pride in our students, encouraging them to appreciate both their roots and their potential to flourish in today’s world.
