Greetings and welcome! My name is Ganesh Jeet, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home, nestled on 83 Back Street in Windsor, Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a carpenter, I bring passion and dedication to my craft, creating beautiful and functional pieces that reflect the rich culture of Guyana. From the historic landmarks of Fort Zeelandia to the vibrant markets filled with the aromas of pepperpot and curry, my work is inspired by the essence of our diverse heritage.
Guyana is often misunderstood as part of the Caribbean, but our unique identity is rooted in South America, where brown waters and lush landscapes tell our story. I take pride in our culinary diversity, where you might find the best Chinese food outside of China right here in our local restaurants. It's this blend of cultures that shapes our community and creates a vibrant atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike.
