Hello! I’m Gwendolyn Miguel, a proud labourer residing in the picturesque River Grant Teneze Farm area of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant community, where the rich culture and traditions of Guyana shape our everyday lives. Living close to the winding shores of the Pomeroon River, I’ve experienced firsthand the beauty of our lush landscapes and the warmth of our people. Whether it's taking a stroll along the banks, enjoying fresh catches of the day, or participating in community festivals, I am continually inspired by our shared heritage. The sounds of our dialect, the taste of our pepperpot, and the rhythm of our folk music bind us together, even when we are miles apart.
As I continue my journey as a labourer, I carry the spirit of my homeland with me, fostering connections within the Guyanese diaspora. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
