Hello! I’m Fitzroy Benjamin, a proud logger hailing from the beautiful River Grant Teneze Farm in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant community, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for the lush rainforests that surround us and the importance of sustainable practices in logging. My work allows me to connect with the land, and I take pride in supporting our local economy while respecting the natural beauty that Guyana has to offer.
Guyana is a unique blend of cultures, and I carry with me the rich flavors of our diverse heritage—whether it's savoring a hearty bowl of pepperpot on special occasions or enjoying a casual meal of cook-up rice and fried fish with friends. Sharing these culinary traditions with my family and fellow Guyanese, especially those in the diaspora, keeps our culture alive and thriving, no matter where we are in the world.
