Greetings! My name is Jasoda Seeraji, and I proudly call Coast 14 Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a labourer, I contribute to my community while savoring the unique blend of cultures that makes Guyana truly special. From the vibrant streets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, I find inspiration in our rich heritage, which is deeply rooted in the diverse histories of our people, including my own family's connection to the indentured lineage.
Growing up in Guyana, I've developed a strong appreciation for our local cuisine, with dishes like pepperpot and roti always bringing back fond memories of family gatherings. There's nothing quite like the sounds of laughter and the aroma of freshly cooked food wafting through the air during our traditional festivities. I also have a fondness for our beautiful landscapes, whether it's the breathtaking Essequibo River or the lush greenery that surrounds us—each place holds a special story in my heart.
As I connect with the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the stories of my fellow countrymen and women, both near and far, who share their experiences of home.
