One of my favorite ways to celebrate our culture is through food. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a hearty duck curry paired with dhal puri roti, just like how we in the Caribbean love to savor our meals. It's all about that communal spirit—tearing off a piece of roti to scoop up the savory goodness, much like my ancestors did. Whether it's sharing a meal with family or reminiscing about home with those in the diaspora, food is a vital link that keeps us grounded in our roots.
