Hello! I’m Jennifer Taylor, a dedicated teacher residing in the heart of Coast 84 Back Street Reliance, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I was fortunate to be surrounded by the vibrant mosaic of cultures that shape our beautiful country. From the savory delights of pepperpot to the sweet indulgence of guava cheese, I have always been passionate about sharing our culinary treasures and traditions, both in the classroom and beyond. The diverse food experiences are something I truly cherish, and I often find myself reminiscing about the delicious meals shared with family and friends.
My roots in Pomeroon have instilled in me a profound appreciation for our local landmarks, such as the stunning Pomeroon River, which not only serves as a vital resource but also as a place of gathering and community. I believe that education should reflect the richness of our culture; thus, I strive to incorporate local history and indigenous knowledge into my teaching.
