Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, this beautiful area is known for its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Although I work hard in the mines, I always strive to connect with my community and share our stories. I often find myself laughing at how outsiders sometimes butcher the names of our beloved places—like Lower Pom River and Aberdeen Estate—showing just how unique and special our home truly is. It's a reminder of the pride we take in our roots, even as many of us venture abroad seeking new opportunities.
