Hello! I’m Keturah James, a proud farmer from the vibrant community of Mission in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the mighty Essequibo River flows and the lush green fields serve as the backdrop for my daily life. Farming is not just my profession; it’s a way to connect with my heritage, nurture the earth, and contribute to the local economy by growing a variety of crops, including rice and cash crops, which are essential to our community.
Living in Guyana, I cherish our rich cultural heritage, from the mouth-watering flavors of cook-up rice and pepper pot to the vibrant celebrations of Mashramani. I often reminisce about my college days when I met friends from around the world, sharing stories and experiences that foster a sense of belonging, even when we’re miles apart.
