Growing up on the banks of the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the vibrant culture that surrounds me. Whether it’s savoring delicious patties from local vendors or sharing stories with neighbors about our beloved Cocorite Landing and Karawab Creek, I cherish these moments that connect us as a community. I also love how our diaspora, from places like Toronto to the Philippines, keeps the spirit of Guyana alive, reminding us all of our roots.
