Hello! I’m Lancy Richards, a proud miner from the vibrant Pomeroon region in Guyana. Living in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I draw inspiration from the lush landscapes and the rich culture that surrounds me. I often reminisce about the mouth-watering flavors of local cuisine, like pepperpot and curry, which connect me to my roots and remind me of home.
As a miner, I not only contribute to the economy of my beloved Guyana, but I also feel a deep connection to the land that nourishes us. The spirit of hard work is infused in everything we do here, from the bustling communities to the serene villages like Moruka Enmore and Canal Lower Pom River. My work allows me to support my family and stay connected to our traditions, and I take pride in being a part of this dynamic and resilient community.
