Hello! I’m Lavita Persaud, a dedicated nurse based in the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 22 Public Road Dunkeld in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. With a passion for caring for my community, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those I serve. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been fortunate to experience our rich heritage firsthand—from savoring the delightful flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to exploring the serene beauty of the River Grant and the lush landscapes of Lower Pom. Our country’s vibrant culture, infused with the rhythms of soca and chutney, has always inspired me. I take pride in connecting with our diaspora community, sharing stories and celebrating our roots no matter where we are in the world. As we often say, “GT rules South America,” and I carry that spirit with me in all that I do.
