Hello! I’m Leon Lawrie, a proud Guyanese living on the beautiful Coast Public Road Plantation in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of my homeland, I’ve come to appreciate the rich tapestry of traditions that make Guyana unique. From the rhythmic beats of our local music to the fragrant aromas wafting from the kitchen—where you can always find curry cooking with puri—my roots run deep in this extraordinary land.
As a resident of Guyana, I cherish our diverse heritage, which includes the nine indigenous peoples such as the Arawaks and Caribs. This blend of cultures reflects in our festivals, foods, and daily life, making every gathering a celebration of community.
