Greetings! I am Lionel Boodhram, an Extension Officer proudly serving the vibrant community of Success on the Essequibo Coast. My work centers around agricultural development, helping local farmers improve their yield and sustainability practices. I believe in the power of our land and the rich resources Guyana has to offer, from the fertile soil along the Pomeroon River to the lush landscapes that inspire us all.
Growing up in Guyana, I have always cherished our diverse culture, which is reflected in our food, music, and traditions. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or dancing to the lively rhythms of our local music, these experiences shape our identity. I also share a deep connection with the diaspora, who carry a piece of our heart wherever they go, whether they visit Suriname or further afield.
