Hello! I’m Margaret Smith, a dedicated midwife living in the beautiful Lower Pomeroon River area at the Paripi Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My work focuses on supporting families during one of the most significant moments of their lives, and I take great pride in ensuring that every mother and child has the care they deserve. Growing up in this vibrant community has shaped my passion for maternal health and the unique cultural practices we cherish here.
As a proud Guyanese, I relish the flavors of our local cuisine, from a hearty plate of roti with duck to the sweet taste of fresh fruits from our lush landscape.
