Greetings! My name is Mark Agard, and I proudly call Coast 008 Marias Lodge New in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of our region, I developed a fondness for our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which are not just meals but a celebration of our diverse heritage. Sharing a plate of food with family and friends always brings a smile to my face, echoing the warm hospitality that Guyanese people are known for. I often reminisce about my time spent along the Pomeroon River, where the riverbanks tell stories of generations, and the laughter of children fills the air.
