Hello! I’m Tracy Agard, a dedicated teacher based in the heart of Essequibo Coast, specifically at 70 Richmond Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My passion for education is deeply rooted in my upbringing in Guyana, where the rich blend of cultures has shaped my teaching philosophy. I strive to instill the same sense of community and pride in my students that I hold dearly, encouraging them to explore both their local heritage and the broader world.
Growing up, I developed a love for our diverse culinary traditions, from the hearty pepperpot during festive occasions to the unique flavors of Guyanese Chinese food that have become a beloved staple in our communities. This culinary heritage is more than just food; it's a connection to our shared history and the generations of families—like my own—who have contributed to the mosaic of Guyanese identity. I often share these experiences in my classroom, helping my students appreciate where they come from and how it shapes who they are.
