Hello! My name is Onkar Singh, and I hail from the vibrant community of La Bagatelle, located on the beautiful island of Leguan in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I take pride in contributing to my local community and the broader Guyanese economy. Growing up in Guyana, I cherish the rich cultural heritage that comes from our diverse backgrounds. From the mouthwatering flavors of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the rhythmic beats of our folk music, every aspect of our culture is a testament to our shared history. I often reminisce about the days spent by the Pomeroon River, where I would enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, just like many of my friends from the diaspora who fondly share their memories of exploring places like River Breezeland and Upper Pom.
