Hello! My name is Reuben Mahase, and I am proud to call Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a farmer in Pom. River Siriki, I immerse myself in the rich traditions of our community while cultivating the land that has sustained generations of my family. Growing up in a country known for its vibrant cultures and diverse heritage, I have always cherished the flavors of our local cuisine, from the aromatic pepperpot to the sweet, hearty cook-up rice. I resonate with the sentiments of those in the diaspora; seeing culinary representations of our culture, like Chef Ramsay in Georgetown, fills me with nostalgia and pride, even as I reflect on the traditional recipes passed down through generations.
