Hello! I'm Robin Beepat, a proud carpenter from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically located at 73 Public Road Zorg in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the lush greenery and winding rivers tell stories of our rich heritage. Like many Guyanese, I carry the spirit of my country wherever I go, and I truly love my homeland. It's a place where the warmth of the sun is matched only by the warmth of our people.
As a carpenter, I take great pride in my craftsmanship, shaping wood with the same care that our ancestors used to craft their homes and tools. I often reminisce about the flavors of my childhood, particularly the delectable Chinese dishes that once filled our streets, reminiscent of the Orient back in the day. Eating a hearty beef pepper pot during the holidays is a must, a dish that brings everyone together, just like the sound of laughter echoing through our small towns.
Here on the Essequibo Coast, we celebrate our diversity, from our Amerindian roots to our Indo-Guyanese flavors. I find inspiration in connecting with others who share this unique cultural tapestry. Whether it's a chat over a plate of tuma pot or a stroll by the river, I cherish every moment. This connection to my community and my love for Guyana drives everything I do, as we all share a common thread, just like the rivers that flow through our beautiful land.
