Hello! I’m Rohim Warren, a proud Guyanese sawman based in the serene area of Karawab, located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich natural resources and the craftsmanship involved in working with wood. My community is filled with warmth, and it’s a joy to connect with my neighbors who share the same passion for our beautiful land.
When I’m not working, you can find me indulging in some of our traditional dishes, like the beloved pepper pot, which fills the air with its rich spices and brings everyone together around the table. As a Guyanese, I value the importance of our food culture, and I believe it’s a vital way to share our heritage with friends and family, whether here or across the diaspora. I often connect with fellow Guyanese abroad, and I cherish the comments I receive from those who reminisce about our home, like the ones who say, "Big up to you, David! Guyanese food is the best!"
As I navigate through life as a sawman, I carry the essence of my homeland with me, whether it’s through the wood I work with or the stories I share.
