Greetings! I’m Dellon Daniels, a proud Guyanese sawman from the vibrant community of Karawab in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in a land blessed with natural beauty, from the lush rainforest to the winding rivers, I've developed a deep appreciation for the resources our environment offers. My work not only supports my family but also allows me to contribute to the sustainable use of our forests, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same rich landscape.
As a true Guyanese, my heart beats for our culinary culture. Whether it’s savoring dhal puri with a spicy curry or enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays, food is central to our way of life. I believe that sharing a meal is one of the best ways to connect with others, whether they are from our local communities or visitors who are just beginning to explore the beauty of our homeland. Though tourism is growing, many still don’t understand the warmth of our people and the unique flavors of our culture. I see it as my duty to bridge that gap and share our way of life.
Living and working in Guyana, I also stay connected with our diaspora, who carry a piece of our spirit wherever they go.
