Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture of Guyana, I carry with me the rich aromas of curry duck and roti, the rhythmic beats of chutney music, and the warmth of our close-knit communities. The Essequibo River, with its serene beauty, serves as a constant reminder of the natural wonders we have, often overshadowed by the challenges we face.
